These charms aren’t really sugar, but they are very sweet!
Okay, these are not edible, but they look so much like real chocolate, I had to share them here. They are chocolate charms, to put on your cell phone strap, purse, or wherever else you want something sweet! They are made in Japan, which is known for its realistic food replica displays outside of restaurants. I wouldn’t mind having these dangle from my phone, but I think I’d have constant chocolate cravings! The set of three charms is about $10 US, from strapya, and they come in a cute candy box. Now I have to go eat some real chocolate!

The Ultimate Sugar Geek Sculpture
If you’ve been around the neighborhood of geeky and Lord of the Rings sites, you’ve probably seen this already. However, in case you haven’t, I had to share this here. It’s a candy representation of the Battle of Pelennor Fields from the Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, by J.R.R. Tolkien.
I love the little details, like the black licorice Fell Beast, the eerie greenish Dead army, and the stone and tile work on the seven levels of the city walls. You can see all the photos, plus the entertaining explanation by the artists here. It’s really amazing!

Pretty Sugar Stars
Whether you call them “sprinkles” or “jimmies,” these little sugar stars are sweet. If you have another name for them, I’d love to hear it! What do people call sprinkles in Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, and everywhere else?
