Peanut butter chocolate fudge
For Mother’s Day weekend, my family took me on a day trip to Nashville, Indiana. If you’ve never been there, it’s a cute little art colony, with galleries, shops, and sweets shops all over the place! I stopped by the Nashville Fudge Kitchen and indulged in a few treats. One was this beautiful 1/2 pound block of peanut butter chocolate fudge. It was delicious!

And by the way, you can’t imagine the smell inside that shop! The warm, buttery, fudgey aroma was thick, sweet, and heavenly!

I heart peanut butter cups
This one is simple and perfect. I’m addicted to peanut butter cups, and this photo says it all…
Oh, delightful, delectable little peanut butter cup. How I love your groovy sides and scalloped edge! I love you so much, I want to cut out your heart and eat it! And then I will devour the rest of you! mwah-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaa…
Um, yeah. Can somebody please get me a peanut butter cup? Stat!

Thank you to Bob Fornal for this tasty treat!

Wagashi: Japanese confectionery artistry
I think Japanese confections are some of the most beautifully intricate and interesting. These are wagashi, and the information with the package says:
Each shape represents seasonal items and/or flowers. Each is hand made using red and/or white bean paste with natural food coloring. Usually served for Japanese tea ceremonies.
They are almost too pretty to eat, but I think I could manage it! Which do you like the best? I think I’d take the pink cherry blossom in the bottom left corner first. Yum!

Thanks to moriza for allowing me to show his photo here!
