Andrew’s birthday cake

by sugargeek on September 6, 2008

Okay, I know this one isn’t spectacular or anything, but it’s my son’s birthday cake, and I had to show it. Because the cake was really yummy, and he is so sweet! It was a store-bought cake from Target, and I added the Mario toys. Happy Birthday, Punkin!

What a great mom! Getting her son a specialty cake, and supporting an early addiction to gaming.

My mom never got me a cake. :(
She did however give me a spring-form pan one year as a b-day present. I was starting as the new head chef at a restaurant, and it was like the only cooking device she could think of that I didn’t have. I could have used a coffee/herb grinder more.

This cake was yummy! I broke my no sugar rule to see what that mix of chocolate and yellow cake was like. One bite, but it was so yummmmmmmmmy! Who knew? Target!

@BadEvan: I’m not sure that makes me great, but thanks! You deserve a cake! Can you have cake now?
@Janet: Target!! :-)

That is very cool. I may need to do something like that for my GF. She is a huge Mario fan.

Yeap. I was just cleared the other day by my doc. I can eat what ever I want. No promises it wont hurt or gets stuck. It’s a trail and error type of thing. But not much will fall into the “no way!” Category.

Hey my B-day is right around the corner! Maybe this year…with all that’s gone on…she’ll get/make (please let it be get) me a cake.

**fingers crossed**
