Cookies that look like baby doughnuts
I have never seen a cookie quite like this. These look like miniature doughnuts, with their pretty pastel glazes and confetti sugar sprinkles, but they’re classified as cookies. Really, I don’t care what they are, because they look delectable. I think they’re small enough to eat in a single bite (maybe a big, mmmphl-nmmpfl bite), and wash down with some ice-cold chocolate milk. Darn it. Now I need a snack.

There’s not a recipe, but you can buy these from the photographer/baker, for $3.50/dozen of autunnos. I don’t know him personally, but you can visit http://joeybiscottimenu.blogspot.com/ for more information on these cookies and other goodies!
These are our version of Italian Easter Cookies… We do them in different colors depending on the season… The cookies are baked and then dipped in the different color glazes, and then sprinkled appropriately and allowed to harden… If I remember dorrectly, these were given a subtle lemon flavor… And thanks, Sugar Geek, for the shout out!!!
