National Doughnut (or Donut) Day!
In honor of the delicious, dangerously delectable, deep-fried dough, here is a delightful photo of the famous Bacon Maple Doughnut from Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland, Oregon. I haven’t tried it, because I don’t live near Portland. But I’m inspired enough by this photo to add bacon to my own doughnut sometime! Yum!

Ice Cream in Earth Tones
Yesterday was Earth Day, and so I was inspired to find something earthy to share with you this week. Here it is! A dish of ice cream in the mellow, earthy tones of Salted Caramel, Ritual’s Coffee Toffee, and Chocolate Coconut from the Bi-Rite Creamery in San Francisco, California. Hope your Earth Day was sweet and creamy!
