Candy-coated popcorn
This colorful “confetti popcorn” is from the Nashville Fudge Kitchen, in Nashville, Indiana. My kindergartener helped me choose which flavor to buy, and when we couldn’t pick just one, we opted for this blend. I’m not really accustomed to popcorn that tastes like green apple, grape, strawberry, and orange, but it was yummy. Having tasted all those flavors, however, I must say that my favorite candy popcorn is still the classic — caramel! It’s the perfect blend of butter, sugar, and salt!

Peanut butter chocolate fudge
For Mother’s Day weekend, my family took me on a day trip to Nashville, Indiana. If you’ve never been there, it’s a cute little art colony, with galleries, shops, and sweets shops all over the place! I stopped by the Nashville Fudge Kitchen and indulged in a few treats. One was this beautiful 1/2 pound block of peanut butter chocolate fudge. It was delicious!

And by the way, you can’t imagine the smell inside that shop! The warm, buttery, fudgey aroma was thick, sweet, and heavenly!

Happy Mother’s Day organic cookies
These are USDA-certified organic cookies, and they’re so pretty! I love the combination of pink and yellow, and would be delighted to receive a tin of these for Mother’s Day! Beautiful Sweets has been featured on several television programs, and boasts, “They Taste as Good as They Look.” Suddenly, I’m craving cookies… I’d better go finish making dinner.

Available from Beautiful Sweets.
